Background: Stephen Taylor was possibly the most average kid on the planet until a freak accident turned him into living energy during a school trip to an experimental Hadron collider in 2006. Sneaking off with his childhood friend Whitney, Stephen somehow managed to loosen a valve that allowed the room they were in the be flooded with energy from the collisions. The result turned their bodies into pure energy which would be taken by the government and placed into containment cells to control their unstable power levels. For the next few years, the two were believed dead, until 2008 when what was believed to be Whitney let out a scream powerful enough to level half the facility. Another year of testing would take place before the scientist at S.T.A.R Labs concluded that the two boys miraculously survived, now in the form of living energy. Through trial and error, they were able to place the two inside containment suits which helped give them form and a sort of control over their power. While Stephen managed to hold himself together mentally, Whitney had lost his mind and attempted to kill Stephen after seeing what became of him. After S.T.A.R Labs assumingly killed him, Stephen was placed under their watch at a special site built for anomalies such as him. There he slowly regained his humanity and learned of new abilities that his condition offered him. In 2008, Patricia Nightly had somehow managed to get him transferred to her own facilities where she would train him to become second in command of Supreme Justice, her own version, and the official contingency plan, for the Justice Teens of America. Leading the team on several missions under the codename Kinetic Teen, he would eventually join the J.T.A during a mission that would kill most of Supreme Justice.
Personality: Originally it was hard for Kinetic Teen to come to terms with what he had become, and with his waning Humanity it’s a miracle he didn’t end up like Potential. As his powers evolved and grew, a sense of uncertainty and even fear often invaded his mind on missions, never wanting to truly test himself. As he got older and met others who could train him in control, Kinetic became more confident in himself and others but humbled in knowing that no matter how far his powers went, he was still Human under all that amour.

Character Summary: Originally believing that the Justice Teens were a threat to society, Kinetic Teen joined Patricia Nightly's Supreme Justice only to learn otherwise.
