Background: Monique Hampton was one of the hundreds of people whose meta-gene was activated during the 2005 explosion. What started as an advanced level of vocal control one day turned into a deafening high pitch scream. After learning of her powers, her uncle Joe worked with her to use them to enhance her singing abilities which managed to place her on the radar of some organizations. Unfortunately, the Injustice Teens ended up being one of them. In early 2010, Maximum Zero and Carbine made their way into the hotel Monique and her entourage were. Her uncle and some of the bodyguards were quick to step between them and her which lead to Carbine blasting out all the hallway windows for that floor. When gunfire rang Monique and her friends scattered, attempting to avoid the bullets and bloodshed. As she ran, a random gust of wind threw her through the glass window. Before she even passed the floor below, Kid Blurr caught her and ran her to safety. With his appearance, Maximumz Zero and Carbine began to engage them with the intent to kill the two. With Tech Break,  Blurr managed to hold off the I.Ts long enough for reinforcements to arrive. Seeing their mission as a failure, Zero and Carbine escaped without Monique. After both teams disappeared, Monique was placed in witness protection by the government until they were sure she was safe. During this time, she would research the Justice Teens and Injustice Teens which eventually lead to her contacting them for membership.

 

Personality: Strongly independent, strong-headed, and powerful, Sonic Siren proved herself to be as fierce as her powers during her first few months in the team. She is a social butterfly, gaining a wide liking in the league due to the parties she invites them to. While on missions, she’s reliable and follows her orders unless they go against her gut feeling to which she is quick to make her opinion known.

 

Death: Monique was killed by a stray explosive bolt from Christina Delphine during the final battle
