Background: Tony Claremont and his family moved to Atlanta after their apartment complex in Detriot caught fire. Though his parents were saved, Tony was separated and trapped in a smoke-filled room for thirty minutes. Believing him to be dead, everyone was surprised when a firefighter found him unconscious and breathing. With their home gone, the family moved south and stayed up in east Atlanta. There, Tony lived his life as normally as possible, normally trying to keep out of trouble from all the violence in the area. In 2010, while on a family vacation in Miami, an intense battle between Maximum Zero and his Injustice Teens against the Justice Teens. During the fight, several civilians were tossed into the sea. Knowing of his incredible ability, Tony, after sneaking away from his parents, ran head-first into the ocean, saving as many people as he could before Water Shock appeared, noticing how often he would return to the ocean and the length he could stay in the water. After the event, Water Shock notified Blurr who then notified Ada Shepard who would test Tony to find the meta-gene and have his name placed on a registry. Before she could invite him to her Academy, the Justice Teens would reach out first, asking for his help with trapped First Defense soldiers in a fight with Gasious. With his powers, he was unaffected by the Meta and helped get the men out to safety while Impulse and Gadget Break apprehended Gasious. Thankful, the two unceremoniously invited Tony to join the J.T.

 

Personality: Tony’s abilities aren’t considered very special, and for that, he’s not used to dealing with large, world-ending threats. He’s essentially a normal teenager. Living in Detroit and Atlanta, Tony’s had to learn to be quick on his feet and trust his gut. He’s willing to always help around with the leagues when he’s called for. With his few years of being a J.T support, he’s been trained to be focused due to the multiple high-risk missions he’s sent on.
