Background: Born and raised in the city of Metropolis, Emily’s life has revolved around the weird and spectacular, becoming something of a fangirl of the current superheroes of her time. Unbeknownst to her, Emily's life will become ensnared in the same battle of good and evil her idols fight. While attending a party in 2008, Emily was forcibly pushed and locked in a meat locker by an unknown assailant. Trapped inside for nearly 3 hours, Emily was on the brink of death until her meta-gene activated and adapted to the environment, giving her cryokinetic powers to help her survive. When she was found, she was unrecognizable due to her hair turning white. Brought to S.T.A.R Labs, Ada Shepard ran a short test on her, helping Emily revert to normal. Offering to teach her to hone her powers, Emily, still shocked and scared of her current situation, refused and hid her powers for the better part of a year. Having already been on the list of possible recruits the year prior, Kid Blurr and Star Lad would approach her at an after-school event in hopes of recruiting her to keep her safe from Elizabeth Right. After a few weeks of persuading, Emily took their offer.
Personality: Emily is a cheerleader for her school and is generally liked by everyone. Both a nerd and part of the popular crowd, she’s known for being highly social and nice until her buttons are pushed. Though a fan of heroes, she is reluctant at being one herself, fearing that fully giving herself into that world would come at the cost of her safety and the lives of those around her. Even so, Emily does her best to make herself useful to the J.T, mainly assisting with search and rescue missions.
