Background: Tamara King was born the child of a single parent in Seattle, Washington. When she was three, her father walked out on her and her mother. She lived a rough life, with her mother in and out of drug rehab, and no real friends that she could keep in touch with, then everything changed when her powers miraculously activated during a fight between Kid Nitrro and Kid Shift in her apartment. The resulting calamity force activated her abilities of Fyrosokinesis, shield generation, and manipulation, which saved her from the collapsing building. A year later, Tamara was forced to use her powers again after the overhead train derailed and nearly landed on the school bus ahead of hers. Watching from the crowd, Dog Boy and PaPa The Panda quickly raced in to help move the bus and would later find that it was Tamara who had generated the bubble. Though the league had its hands tied, between Blurr’s death and Sparky Arrow breaking off with a few others, Dog Boy believed it’d be better to have Tamara join now rather than have Right find her alone. Fortunately for Dog Boy, she agreed to join the Justice Teens and took the moniker of Bomb Shelter.
Personality: Bomb Shelter’s ability can almost be said to be a representation of herself. She’s very protective of her friends and mother and is used to pushing her abilities to their limits when it’s called for. Unapologetic and strong-minded, she's proud of who she is and never lets others' opinions of her shake her conviction. She’s a conversationalist and can usually keep one going with even the most introverted, though she can be a bit of a smartass, taking that from Blurr and Shift.

Appearance: There’s always a grin, smirk, or pleasant look on this girl’s face. She has a caramel skin tone and brunette dreads that reach her shoulders. Found usually around her forehead are green goggles with green-tinted lenses. She wears a black, short sleeve cosplay bomber jacket with a raised collar with green ends, and two straps that attach from her back to where her collar bones are and have green buttons on them. Both sleeves have a single thick green ring around them. The lower half of the jacket is green. The pants she wears are track pants with tied green pants strings in the front. At the bottom of each leg, the material of the pants tightens on her calves and down and is green.
